Alleged aggravated burglary and aggravated armed robbery – Glenorchy
Police are investigating an alleged aggravated burglary and aggravated armed robbery at a Glenorchy residence this morning between parties believed to be known to each other.
Around 5.50am three offenders attended an address on Tolosa Street.
They forced entry and threatened the occupants using tools as weapons.
One man was assaulted and received several minor grazes to his face.
The offenders stole a quantity of money before leaving in an unknown vehicle.
The offenders are described as:
- Offender 1 – Male, 6 foot tall, large build, wearing a black balaclava, black pants, black hoodie and spoke with a deep voice.
- Offender 2 – Male, 6 foot tall, wearing a black balaclava, grey track pants and a black hoodie.
- Offender 3 – Male, about 5’6” tall, wearing a black balaclava and black clothing.
Police believe this was a targeted attack with the victim known to the offenders.
