Fatal crash on private property at Campania under investigation

Sadly a man has died as a result of a workplace incident on a property at Campania this afternoon.

Police and emergency services, including the Westpac Rescue Helicopter, attended a property on Colebrook Road, following a report that an excavator had rolled around 12.35pm.

The driver of the excavator, a man in his 80s, was sadly located deceased.

Police and WorkSafe Tasmania will investigate and prepare a report for the Coroner.
