Man charged with child exploitation offences

A 39-year-old Bellerive man has been charged with a series of online offences following a significant investigation by Tasmania Police.

The man was arrested by Detectives from Bellerive CIB yesterday and charged with 38 offences, including producing child exploitation material, grooming with intent to procure a child for sexual abuse and failing to comply with reporting obligations.

The man will appear before the Hobart Magistrates Court later today.
