Multiple car damage incident at BWS New Norfolk

Police are currently at the scene of a car damage incident which occurred at BWS New Norfolk earlier this evening.

The incident has seen five vehicles suffer damage in the rear car park of BWS.

Police have a 28 year old male in custody who is assisting with their investigations.

If there are any witnesses to this incident they are encouraged to contact police on 131 444 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.

Police can confirm that the male person who is in custody assisting with their investigation was treated at the scene for non-life threatening injuries and taken to hospital for treatment. He was released from hospital shortly after.

No other people were injured as a result of this incident as the other vehicles involved were stationary at the time.

Police have charged a 28 year old male with one count of dangerous driving following investigations. The male will face court in November.

Police will continue to investigate the matter in respect to outlined assaults and reiterate that any witnesses to this incident should contact police on 131 444 or Crime Stoppers 1800 333 000
