Police continue search for man near Riana

Police are continuing their search for the man who evaded them in a vehicle yesterday afternoon in the Riana area.

Police are searching for Luke Eli Jackson, who may be in possession of a firearm. The original vehicle he was driving in has since been recovered.

Police are now searching for a 2019 White Holden Colorado flat tray utility stolen overnight from Costa’s at East Devonport, which hasn’t yet been located and seek any information as to sightings or its current location. An image of a similar vehicle is attached.

The registration for this vehicle is I06JZ but may have been altered since its stealing. There was a blue tank strapped and two tool boxes strapped onto the rear tray of the utility at the time of the stealing.

The man shouldn’t be approached by members of the public, but any information should be immediately provided to police on 131444, Triple Zero (000) in an emergency, or anonymously to Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.

Media please note: Detective Inspector Kim Steven will be available for interview at Devonport Police Station at 2.30pm.
