Police investigating deliberately lit house fire at Gordon

Police are investigating a deliberately lit house fire in Gordon this morning which completely destroyed the residence.

Around 7.10am emergency services received a Triple Zero call about a house on fire on the Channel Highway.

The house, estimated at $300K in value, was well alight when reported to emergency services and was completely destroyed by fire before emergency services arrived at the scene.

TasNetworks staff attended and rendered safe the power supply to the house and neighbouring properties.
