Spreyton man charged

The 41-year-old man taken into police custody at Spreyton yesterday has been charged with aggravated assault, and several firearms and drug related offences.  

During a police search at a property on Kelcey Tier Road yesterday police seized a number of illegal items including illicit drugs (methylamphetamine, prescription medication and cannabis), an imitation firearm, a gel blaster, a taser, ammunition and stolen property.  

The charged man was bailed to appear before the Devonport Magistrates Court on 26 June.
