Vehicle and structure fire at Gagebrook

Police are investigating after a fire in Gagebrook involving a vehicle in a carport adjacent to a house was deemed suspicious.

Police and emergency services were called to an address in Boronia Place, Gagebrook about 3.00am this morning with Tasmania Fire Service extinguishing the fire.

Thankfully, the 35-year-old female occupant of the house managed to escape unharmed.

The damage to the vehicle and house was extensive and investigations are continuing.
