Woman arrested following CBD damage

Launceston Police have arrested a 32 year old South Launceston woman after she damaged windows at over 25 business premises within the Launceston CBD this evening.

Police were alerted to the incident at around 8:30pm and subsequently located the woman within the Brisbane Street Mall.

The woman has been detained in custody and is expected to face the Launceston Magistrates Court tomorrow.

Police would like to thank members of the public for their assistance in reporting this matter and providing video footage.
